PRO BONO publico (English: for the public good; usually shortened to PRO BONO a Latin phrase generally used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment or at a reduced fee as a public service.

We believe in giving back to the society and helping the public at large. Our PRO BONO work is not about benevolence or philanthropy, it is driven with a vision to augment thoughts with actions. We practice what we preach and altruism is our core value.

We support the cause of grassroots innovators to enable them to exploit the burgeoning rural industries in India. From promoting the small and medium scale industries, to offering help the needy and deserving in the areas of Intellectual Property Rights prosecution, protection and exploitation, our firm also organizes and actively contributes to seminars and conferences for the sensitization of intellectual property rights.

We are always eager to offer Pro Bono services and be associated with deserving causes. Our firm is actively engaged in providing pro bono legal services. The Firm has been providing legal representation to various not-for-profit / charitable organisations in legal proceedings, including public interest litigation. The Firm has also provided advice to, and assisted, various not-for-profit / charitable organisations on different aspects of law, including the setting-up of presence in India, obtaining relevant registrations, including, inter alia, for receipt and utilization of foreign contributions, commercial contracts and general corporate advisory, protection of intellectual property and taxation matters.

The pro bono initiative of our firm connects alike minded lawyers with an interest in providing volunteering services with well-regarded and appropriately vetted women’s and children’s NGOs and civil society organisations. In the process, our initiative intends to create a culture of volunteering among Indian law firms. In addition to fulfilling a crying need for professional services within the civil society sector in India, providing pro bono legal services or other volunteering-based services gives our firm a sense of well-being and fulfillment
